2 Stars Not Enough Examples
I am a higher rater for the NSPS employees in my department. There is still much angst over how to write objectives, how to measure those accomplishments, and how to assist employees with writing their self-assessments. Quite frankly, all I really needed was the ability to review multiple examples of successful self-assessments and job objectives in order to craft my own and to guide my staff. I truly thought this book would be helpful.
Imagine my disappointment to read only FIVE complete examples in the book with an additional four examples in the appendix…and none were relevant to a nurse or nurse extender.
The book contains the same information you can find at the NSPS web site: http://www.cpms.osd.mil/nsps/
There is no reason to purchase this manual unless you want a nice work book to do your writing in. This was not helpful to me as an employer.
